On a glorious morning in Kilbeggan, our footballers came away with a comprehensive win in Division 6 B.
Although small in numbers, we played very well with 10 different players registering scores.
Some great football was played by the Ballynacargy lads who are improving week on week. An aspect of this team which really stands out is their determination, tenacity and team spirit which is great to see in this group of footballers.
The score of the game came from some great team play which Edward Nally finished off with a powerful shot to the net. The score arrived after starting off with a great save from our goalkeeper Alan Keena who released the ball quickly to cousin John. John from the sideline brought Philip Price into play, who found the energetic Tony Doran, Tony found Ed in the centre who only had one thing on his mind .... GOAL!
